One of the most popular and widely used treatments within both salons and clinics has grown enormously in recent times. Micro needling or collagen induction therapy as it is known, using the roller will introduce you to the benefits of the roller as part of a skin care regime or as more commonly as a stand- alone treatment.

You will be guided through all health and safety areas for correct use, the various forms of needling skin depths and its uses for skin rejuvenation which includes problematic skin conditions such as comedogenic skin, stretch marks, hair loss, pigmentation and milia.  Preparation of the skin, products and how to perform the treatment on the face will be covered. It is important to enrol onto a programme of study for this particular treatment as the correct methods of use can be taught with valuable information regards the correct types of professional roller required that follow health and safety procedures. Accreditation will allow you to seek insurance required to practice within your area of employment. Treatment will allow the client to leave without too much downtime. Small kit is included.

*The treatment itself should only employ little discomfort to your clients. All indications for use will be covered, discussing contraindications for use, contractions found and aftercare.

 

To further your knowledge and skills you can enrol onto our VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling course where you will also cover pen needling, various protocols for treatment, the use of additional products through the use of mesotherapy, as well as those other treatments which compliment needling. VTCT level 4 forms part of our aesthetic suite treatments which allow progression to level 5/6 areas of study.

Deposit - £100, balance due before course commencement

Entrance requirements – 18 years of age and SVQ Level 3 Beauty certificate (or equivalent), knowledge of the skin

Consists of - 2 case studies

Duration  - 1 day, 10am - 3pm (students can return for further study)

Exam – is by observation and Quiz

Certification – Microneedling Certificate

CPD points – 16 hours

Student requirements – Students to wear suitable comfortable clothing, ie uniform. Long hair to be tied back. Students are required to be prompt to class.
